FanDuel Sportsbook is taking over the sports betting market.
The company had over 40% of the market in 2021, which is remarkable with all the books popping up in the United States.

FanDuel recently launched in the CT sports betting market, and it quickly became one of the best bookies in the state.

Another excellent part about FanDuel is the company’s commitment to responsible gambling. FanDuel is doing its part to make sure responsible gambling is at the top of the list. The company has announced that it’s starting the ‘Play Well’ campaign.

As part of the ‘Play Well’ campaign, the company will make a $100,000 donation to the National Council on Problem Gambling.

This campaign coincides with Problem Gambling Awareness Month, so this is good timing for the company.

FanDuel will make this massive donation and also debut responsible gambling ads all over the place. The company’s creative team will drive this campaign. It will be very digitally engaging, attracting bettors and getting noticed.

The creative team will be working with Boomshot to place the bets. The campaign will be shown on television, digital media, social networks, and audio locations like Sirius XM. It will be highlighted by a p[prime television commercial during significant sporting events during the NCAA Tournament.

This will be a significant media investment, but FanDuel also intends to attract more bettors to its book. This will not just be something that occurs in March.

FanDuel is attempting to do more for problem gambling throughout the year. FanDuel Sportsbook has numerous problem gaming tools on its site, highlighted during the campaign.

The person who will be the face of the company is Craig Carton. Carton is a responsible gaming ambassador and sports personality. Because of his traits, he was the perfect fit to be the face of the campaign.

Adam Warrington, the VP of Responsible Gaming at FanDuel, was quoted in the press release. He said, “We’re fully committed at FanDuel to developing useful tools and programs that make a difference in responsible gaming. Our new ad campaign and Craig Carton’s content aim to bring an important spotlight to our player control tools that help customers keep sports betting fun and entertaining.”

The most significant part of the campaign is the $100,000 donation to the National Council on Problem Gambling. There is a stereotype around sports betting, and this non-profit has done a great job of ending the stigma.

The donation will allow the company to continue assisting people with gaming issues. They also help families of the people affected by problem gambling.

Keith Whyte, the National Council on Problem Gambling’s Executive Director, was also asked about the donation.

“The Play-Well tools offer a common-sense, non-stigmatizing approach to responsible play and problem gambling prevention. This critical initiative not only offers vital consumer protections but actively encourages customers to use these tools regularly. We applaud FanDuel Group for taking meaningful steps during Problem Gambling Awareness Month and all year long to promote responsible gambling and address problem gambling nationwide.”

FanDuel is one of the best sports betting platforms in Connecticut. However, the book is still young in the state.
The company operates books in Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia.
