Our friends at CivMetrics looked at the cost of attending a sports game (ticket + parking) relative to the team’s winning percentage over the last 10 seasons.

Cost per win over the last 10 years for 100+ US sports teams. We take the combined cost to attend a game (ticket + parking) over the previous 10 years of games and divide it by the number of wins.

Higher Numbers = worse value: expensive stadiums, bad teams, or both.
