In 2024, Stephen Vogt of the Cleveland Guardians made waves as the second American League Manager of the Year winner along the banks of the Cuyahoga River in three years.
So, for Kansas sports betting, it’s worth wondering who will take home the honor in 2025.

Last season, Vogt and the Guardians took the AL by surprise, going 92-69 and reaching the ALCS before falling to the New York Yankees in five games.

This year, oddsmakers at FanDuel Kansas Sportsbook have installed Seattle Mariners skipper Dan Wilson (+400) and Alex Cora of the Boston Red Sox (+450) as top contenders for AL Manager of the Year.

The Kansas Sportsbook app Goliath believes that Wilson and Cora are at the top of the AL MOY favorites when it comes to AL Manager of the Year odds in 2025. Wilson looks to get the M’s back to the postseason for the second time in four years, while Cora hopes to rebound after a .500 finish in 2024.

After them, Rocco Baldelli (Minnesota Twins), Kevin Cash (Tampa Bay Rays), and John Schneider (Toronto Blue Jays) are co-listed at +700 to win the honor in 2025.

Longshots to keep an eye on in the AL include Ron Washington of the Los Angeles Angels at +850, A.J. Hinch of the Detroit Tigers (+900,) and Athletics skipper Mark Kotsay (+1000).

Kansas City Royals manager Matt Quatraro (pictured above) was second in AL MOY voting in 2024, behind Vogt. For 2025, he is listed at +1300 odds alongside Texas Rangers veteran leader Bruce Bochy.

Since 2015, the skipper of the Guardians has won the AL MOY award three times. Terry Francona took home top honors in the Junior Circuit in 2016 and 2022, with Vogt joining him during his debut campaign in 2024.

The only other AL squads with multiple winners since 2014 are the Tampa Bay Rays, with Cash winning it in 2020 and 2021, and the Twins under Paul Molitor in 2017 and Baldelli in 2019.

As of Feb. 24, Caesars Kansas Sportsbook lists the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers as a heavy favorite to win the 2025 World Series at +230 odds.
The Royals are at +5000.
